My work at a glance
Playable Worlds
Playable Worlds is currently building their first game, and I’ve been hired to build and implement our community strategy and grow our community once we announce our game to the world. A lot of my work has been focused on positioning Playable Worlds as a thought leader for investors on social media and our website, building and creating plans and strategies for building our community on Discord. I’ve created social media campaigns, planned and posted blog posts, built a Discord from scratch, and helped lead the development of an MVP website for various marketing beats.
Intrepid Studios
Ashes of Creation is an upcoming MMORPG published by Intrepid Studios. As our sole social media manager, I write our social copy, come up with ideas for posts and plan campaigns, and handle the engagement on all of our social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and SnapChat), ensure everything follows our branding guidelines. My goal with our social channels is to have engaging content that retain our current followers, attain new followers, all while spreading awareness of our product. I strive to write fun and interesting copy that sparks conversation within our community.
Friends of Cats
Friends of Cats is a non-profit organization in San Diego, CA. I volunteer as their social media coordinator, handling all of the content planning, copy writing, graphics creation (using Canva), and social engagement. In addition to general day-to-day content, I’ve handled two campaigns this year: Giving Tuesday Now (May 2020) and Clear the Shelters (Virtual Event). For Giving Tuesday, we aimed to raise $1000 for the shelter and we exceeded that goal with organic reach and engagement.
Daybreak Games
Daybreak Games is a game company with such titles as Everquest, Everquest 2, Planetside 2, and DC Universe Online. I handled our Support Twitter channel for 3 1/2 years, which included daily tasks of answering questions, posting help articles and hot tips for common issues, and general troubleshooting for user issues. I worked on almost all of our titles at Daybreak Games (and Sony Online Entertainment before that) as a Game Master.
